Healing Workshop Empowers Participants at Bodhi Heart Sanctuary

George Town, Penang — July 27, 2025
The Bodhi Heart Sanctuary hosted a transformative event titled “Let’s Fight Cancer” on Sunday, bringing together participants from across Penang and beyond for a day of healing, support, and awareness.

The workshop, led by Krissy Gee, a renowned spiritual teacher and sound healer, focused on simple yet powerful self-healing techniques designed to help participants release fear, frustration, and sadness while embracing positivity and resilience.

Attendees were introduced to practices such as humming, conscious breathing, and sound healing at harmonic levels, as well as methods to activate the body’s 72,000 nerve points through belly-button energy work. These exercises, Krissy explained, are accessible to both cancer patients and the wider public as tools to build inner strength and emotional balance.

“Faith, positivity, and love are the greatest medicines,” Krissy shared during the session, noting her own ongoing battle with stage 4 lung and liver cancer. She emphasized that healing begins not only with treatments like chemotherapy, but also with cultivating a positive outlook and spiritual resilience.

The event was warmly received by participants, many of whom expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn practical techniques in a supportive environment. Laughter, heartfelt sharing, and moments of reflection marked the gathering, leaving attendees with renewed courage and a sense of community.

Organizers extended their appreciation to the Bodhi Heart Sanctuary for its continued commitment to social well-being, as well as to the volunteers and supporters who made the event possible.

Looking ahead, more “Let’s Fight Cancer” workshops are planned to expand the reach of holistic healing practices and to provide ongoing support for individuals and families affected by cancer.
